Every thing, right now, all the time.
That is how we live life today. Even the drive-thru isn’t fast enough. We have “insta-cart” so we don’t have to actually go in the grocery store.
It’s a wonder we don’t just flip a coin to see who wins at sports and just skip actually playing the game, to save time.
Don’t get me wrong – I’m all about convenience. I hate grocery shopping, it bugs me when I go for a milkshake and have to wait for 4 carloads of fries to cook ahead of me, and I do watch the water boil!
But when it comes to the important things in life, like raising children, learning, teaching, building a business, investing in anything or anyone – slow and steady wins the race.
There are no shortcuts for doing things well. Doing things with love, intention, efficiency, consistency, and commitment for the long haul. You cannot be in a hurry for those most treasured outcomes. They are earned with time and patience. Slow and steady; stay the course.
